The District Works Department, under the leadership of Hon. Godwin Bobobee, undertook a district-wide monitoring exercise on ongoing and completed projects from 3rd to 4th March 2026. On the first day, the team inspected a 3-unit classroom block with an office at Tortibo. They then proceeded to Yeniama to assess the construction of a Community CHPS compound with nurses’ quarters. At Kudi Kope, the team visited a near-completed 3-unit classroom block equipped with an office, staff common room, computer lab, and washroom facilities. The day’s exercise concluded at Adjena Donor, where the construction of a mechanized borehole had been fully completed. On the second day, the team visited a completed 6-unit classroom block featuring a washroom, staff common room, headteacher’s office, and computer lab. They continued to Old Akrade to inspect the construction of a Community CHPS compound with nurses’ quarters. At Fintey, the team reviewed a completed Community CHPS compound with staff quarters. The exercise ended at Anum, where a mechanized borehole project had been successfully completed.
